Another trip to the Habous but this time, it was a food trip! I feel stupid for not taking pictures of the food because it was fantastically good and cheap.
The concept is quite amazing: being at the meat market, you get to buy the meat you want anywhere on the market and then get one of the grills to cook it for you. Not knowing that’s how it worked, we colonizingly, and truthfully not on purpose, got the waiter to buy the kefta meet for us. He added grilled onions and tomato slices to the dish. It was perfection, especially with the mint tea on the side.
All that for 3€ each… Another trip to the Habous but this time, it was a food trip! I feel stupid for not taking pictures of the food because it was fantastically good and cheap.
